A fun bridal shower cake! The bride was Korean
and the groom was French. To acknowledge the
joining of these cultures, the woman was
decorated in a candy clay outfit inspired by the
traditional Korean wedding dress known as a
Hanbok. The frog represented the groom. He
was wearing a beret! Everything was edible,
including the cala lillies. All the decor was
handmade using candy clay.
A castle cake complete with Disney
Princesses on top. All components of
the cake were edible except for the
figurines, at the request of the client.
Every aspect of this cake was edible. The
tiers were airbrushed, per request. The
"furry" effect on Elmo was done by using
a specific decorating tip. The Elmo was
assembled on site and iced to this effect
just prior to the event. The eyes and
nose were made with candy. A special
cake for a special 1 year old!
These 2 cakes are from one of my most frequent clients. The first was a birthday cake for
her son who enjoys paintball as a hobby. Pev's is one of area's biggest paintball suppliers.
(Birthday was not spelled out at the request of the client)
The second cake is of the clients "Naughty and Nice" themed bridal shower. The breast
shaped decor was edible made out of candy chocolate. And the flowers were the "nice" aspect
of the theme. Look for this client to have a section for herself before too long!
A fun cake to celebrate a very special 30th
birthday! Becoming more and more
popular, this was a small topsy turvy style
cake. Very vibrant in color to fit the theme
of the party, all decor seen here was edible
made with candy clay.
For a sweet set of twins turning 1! The party
was beach themed with a sand castle cake
to complete the look. The sand effect was
made with very tasty graham crackers as
opposed to the commonly used sugar
crystals. The seashells were all candy.
A train enthusiast turned 30! This cake was
made to acknowledge the recipients train
collecting hobby. All aspects except basic
support measures of this cake were edible.
The river flow had a 3-D appearance thanks
to some crafty carving of the cake!
Simple, elegant style. The ever
popular ribbon wrapped tiers. The
ribbon seams were closed off using a
double beaded border and topped with
fresh flowers.
Vow renewals deserve celebration
and cake, too! This cake was 2 tiers
of yellow and one of chocolate cake,
all filled with strawberry mousse. The
cake was finished off in white
chocolate ganache and ribbon to
match the colors of the ceremony.

A spectacular display of color, appealing to
the eyes of a special 1 year old! Based on
the popular cartoon, The Backyardigans,
each character was hand sculpted using
vibrant shades of candy clay. The houses in
the backround were candy "panels". Other
decor is on the cake but not visible in the
picture.  The only non edible item was the
Happy Birthday sign.
Still a fan of paintballing, this cake was for the same special guest who
received the Pev's cake. To celebrate becoming a teenager, the group
paintballed in the morning with the afternoon being topped off with this
completely edible paintball mask and cake
A very fun and colorful topsy turvy cake to
celebrate the 1st birthday of a very special
young lady! All decor on this cake was
edible, the tasty candy clay option used to
handmake each piece seen.
A combination of great tasting wedding
cake and cupcakes to satisfy all hands that
should grab! The cake was wrapped in wide
lavender ribbon and actually topped with
cupcakes and flowers!
